This power plant will run on natural gas and is expected to supply 250 MW of electricity and up to 330 tons of steam per hour. Electra Paz was responsible for the installation of a complex fire detection and suppression system that incorporates flame, gas, smoke, and heat detectors, FM-200 gas systems, sprinklers in the electrical rooms and control building, deluge systems for the transformers, fire protection cabinets, outdoor piping, pumps, a foam system, and peripheral fire extinguishing systems surrounding the site.
