The new desalination plant in Sorek is the largest of its kind in the world, producing a total of 150 million cubic meters of desalinated water per year. Electra Paz designed and installed fire detection systems, sprinklers in the electrical rooms, deluge systems for the transformers, a pump room, and indoor fire protection cabinets.
